Advice/Inspiration: ”Never, Never, give up. As an Athlete of 63 years of age I understand my limitations, so just love yourself for where you are now and go forward…Every time I see an Athlete 70, 80, even 90 years of age I am inspired and seek to be like them in the coming years should I be blessed to live that long.”

“You must be willing to put loved ones, friends and work on the back burner from time to time. If you aren’t willing to be selfish in this pursuit, give up, because you won’t get anywhere. That is the biggest problem I see. The other is lack of diversity, meaning don’t just take up walking. Or just running. Or just soccer. An athlete is multi-talented. That is why it I am hard pressed to consider football players as “athletes” since they each mostly specialize in one tiny goal which doesn’t define an athlete to me.”
